Tamara of Provident Home Design had inherited some Restoration Hardware catalogs from a friend about a year ago.

Even though she knew it was out of her league pricewise, Tamara is always on the lookout for inspiration to get a “high-end look on a low-end budget.”

A French Empire design mirror caught her attention, and Tamara had the opportunity to create her own knock off while helping a friend remodel her bathroom.

Tamara says this is a great beginning project, and you sure can’t beat $35 versus $800!

The original inspiration came from the Circa 1810 French Empire Metal Mirror from Restoration Hardware.
