Candace of Candace Creations immediately fell in love with Restoration Hardware’s play teepees and didn’t waste any time buying fabric to make one for her kids.
She had started laying out the fabric and had even cut down trees from the woods to serve as poles when the project got waylaid.
It sat around until her son’s fifth birthday, which happened to be Native American themed and spurred Candace on to finish the teepee.
She shares exactly how she cut her fabric into triangles and then sewed it together to form the teepee.
The main expense for this project is the fabric, which still only cost Candace $24!
The original inspiration came from the play tents at RH Baby & Child.
